About the therapy

What is an EMDR intensive?+
An EMDR intensive delivers EMDR therapy in a concentrated format of 3 or more hours per day over 1 to 3 days, rather than in weekly 50-minute sessions. It's a focused, accelerated path designed to help you feel better faster.
How do I get started with an intensive? What's the two-call process?+
Getting started happens in two steps. First is a free 15-minute intro call, a brief screening and scheduling conversation to answer your questions and book your consultation. It is not a full assessment of fit, so please don't expect it to settle everything in those 15 minutes. Second is a paid one-hour consultation, where Rachael clarifies your goals, completes pre-intensive assessments, and decides with you whether an intensive is the right approach. That consultation fee is credited toward your total package only if you go on to schedule an intensive.
What issues do you specialize in?+
Rachael specializes in trauma (including PTSD, childhood trauma, and abuse) and sexual health concerns. Her core tools are EMDR therapy, EMDR intensives, and sex therapy for individuals and couples.
